浅草ワンデイ箏体験日記

今日は、アメリカのフロリダから浅草にある箏の体験クラスに素敵なお客様がいらしてくださいました。

日本文化に初めて触れるということで、伝統的な曲と現代的な曲を演奏してみたいというリクエストをいただきましたのまずは、日本の象徴的な曲である「さくらさくら」を練習。繊細で美しいメロディを奏でることで、日本の伝統的な音楽の魅力を体感していただきました。

そして、なんとお客様はこの後、東京ディズニーランドに行かれるとのこと！

そこで、ディズニーキャラクターの「ミッキーマウスマーチ」をレッスンさせていただきました。

お客様は楽しみながら箏の演奏に挑戦し、ディズニーの名曲を箏で演奏していただき楽しんでいただけて嬉しかったです♪この体験が日本での素晴らしい思い出のひとつとなればとても嬉しいです。

体験の様子:

Today, we welcomed a wonderful visitor from Florida, USA, to our koto experience class in Asakusa.

As it was their first encounter with Japanese culture, they requested to play both traditional and contemporary music.

We began with “Sakura Sakura,” a quintessential Japanese piece, allowing our guest to experience the charm of traditional Japanese music through its delicate and beautiful melody. Excitingly, our guest mentioned they were heading to Tokyo Disneyland later! In line with this, we also taught them how to play “Mickey Mouse March” on the koto.

Our guest enjoyed the challenge of playing the koto and relished the unique experience of performing a Disney classic on this traditional instrument. It would make me very happy if this experience became one of their wonderful memories of Japan.
